OneRepublic recently took time out of their busy year for an exclusive interview with Cambio to discuss their pre-show rituals, craziest performances and their upcoming album. In the interview, front man Ryan Tedder mentions how the band is currently writing and recording for the next album and that it’s a very different process from their previous work. The band also talked about their brand new Christmas song, “Christmas Without You,” calling it “1965 in your mouth.”

THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS REVEAL NEW WEBSITE & "TALKING TO THE WATER" TEASER VIDEO
The All American Rejects have just launched their brand new layout of their official website, www.allamericanrejects.com. Fans can explore the new site for everything Rejects from their past albums and up to date information. Along, with the site premiere, the band has now released their first album teaser called, “Talking to the Water,” a cinematic, black and white clip for their upcoming fourth studio album due in Spring 2012. Frontman Tyson Ritter narrates the video, which includes scenes of him on the beach and inside the studio with a full orchestra.
The band recently released a YouTube video for upcoming album track, “Someday’s Gone,” which was shot in one take by director Jon Danovic. The All American Rejects called the video an early candy cane for their fans and “hope it bites you and gives you a mark.”

Graffiti6 Announce January Tour Dates With Augustana
Currently on the road in the U.S. supporting Latin singer-songwriter Ximena through December, Britain’s Graffiti6 have announced that they will perform on the Rachael Ray show on December 19th as they continue to tour Stateside throughout January and into February with SONY recording artist Augustana. The tour—in support of their upcoming Capitol Records debut album Colours, which will be released on January 24th, 2012—kicks off January 17th in Anaheim, CA, and criss-crosses the U.S. before wrapping up on February 7th in Atlanta. The group will perform their hit single “Free” on Rachael Ray on December 19th. Currently Top 15 at AAA radio “Free” was the most added song in its first week at the format. The single has now been added to over half the AAA panel in just 8 weeks. Currently in rotation at such influential stations such as KLLC and KFOG in San Francisco, KINK in Portland, KBCO in Colorado, KRVB in Boise, WYEP in Pittsburgh, KKXT in Dallas and KUT in Austin, “Free” was also “Pick of the Week” in USA Today, which praised the track’s “melodic bassline and singer Jamie Scott’s exquisite falsetto breaks.” The video, which was shot in downtown Los Angeles is in rotation at mtvU and can be seen on VEVO here: http://vevo.ly/pLPSXr.
Graffiti6 — a collaboration between singer-songwriter Jamie Scott and songwriter-producer TommyD were praised in a five-star review of Colours from London newspaper The Independent raving that the album—a mélange of pop, psychedelia, R&B, and British Northern Soul—is “an assured debut album that sparkles with invention and throbs with emotion”.
The seven-track “Free” EP is currently available. Sparks The Rescue Need Your Help!
Sparks The Rescue have started a Kickstarter account to raise money for the recording of their new album.
The band released the following statement:
“To all those that have shared and supported Sparks The Rescue over the years, we have hit a wall and NEED YOUR HELP. We have recently lost financial backing to record our music, and we have lost our tour machine (our van). Despite the hardships we have endured, we are focused on the future record and tours we have in the works for the New Year. But Sparks The Rescue may not be able to make these future plans happen without your help!
The new year has Sparks The Rescue in the studio for the release of our new record sometime in the early Summer. We are currently writing the tunes that we hope will find their way to you. There are also plans of U.S and European tours, which we are looking forward to. Recording our music and getting our live show to our fans is the most important part of our lives; and is the reason we are asking for your help. With your support Sparks The Rescue will be able to tour and record successfully in the years to come.
It boils down to you, the listener and the concertgoer. Without you, we would never be where we are today. It has always been, and will always be about you. Ryan Tedder, lead singer/songwriter/producer of the multi-platinum selling band OneRepublic has been nominated for two Grammy Awards. Capping off a year where OneRepublic has topped the charts, Tedder was recognized by The Recording Academy as the nominations for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards were announced in a live broadcast on CBS this week.
Tedder received a Grammy nod in two categories: Album of the Year for Adele’s “21,” which he co-wrote and produced the song “Rumour Has It” and co-wrote “Turning Tables,” as well as a nomination for Producer of the Year Non-Classical for his work with Adele, Beyonce, Cobra Starship, Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, Jennifer Hudson and Demi Lovato.
