Los Angeles, CA (January 27, 2012) – Power-pop group Forever the Sickest Kids (FTSK) announced the release of their new music video for their latest single, “Shut The Front Door (Too Young For This)” today via a premiere on MTV Buzzworthy. STFD is the latest musical venture from Texas natives FTSK as they continue to work on new music for upcoming 2012 releases.
In a statement from drummer Kyle Burns on the video, he said: “Shut The Front Door is a song about sticking it to the man, figuratively speaking of course. Shooting this music video over the course of three days with this cast and director was incredibly fun.”
Next month the foursome will be literally all over the world playing “Shut the Front Door” and more new music. First the Philippines, then Australia to perform at Soundwave Festival over the course of 2 weeks alongside A Day To Remember, Angels & Airwaves, Cobra Starship and more. Afterwards they will be playing shows in Japan before ending in their home state of Texas where they will perform alongside Wiz Khalifa at the Never Say Never Music & Arts Festival and then at SXSW Music Festival.
When they take a moment to breathe, the guys will head back into the studio to finish working on the new music. “This is definitely and exciting time for us. We are writing a lot of songs and cannot wait to let all of our fans hear them,” frontman Jonathan Cook says. He goes on to say, “[STFD] is an all encompassing example of what we can do on our own and with our fans and we hope they connect to that passion.” Look for more new music from FTSK later this Spring.
The video can be viewed exclusively at MTV here.
