A Beautiful Nightmare is an unsigned band from Chicago, Illinois. Releasing their full length album in September, What Have We Done, We got a chance to interview the whole band via E-mail.

1. What are your names, how old are you and what do you do in the band?
Bryan: I’m Bryan, or Brain. I just turned 23, and I play guitar(s).
Jordan: Jordan Hollywood Oman, 22, I play the drums!
Michael: Michael-I’m an ancient demon-Singer.
Zero: Zero, I slapa da bass, I’M 3O!
2. For people who have never heard of ABN, describe your music in 10 words.
Bryan: Heavy, melodic, epic, fast, technical, dark, rude, mean, smelly, moist.
Jordan: #1 Rude #2 Rude #3 Rude #4 Rude #5 Fast #6 Rude #7 Rude #8 epic #9 Rude #10 Awesome.
Michael: Mean, brutal, epic, intense - that’s all I got.
Zero: Death, murder, kill… nice singing …. rowdy… not for church and that’s it. Sorry, didn’t use words…
3. What makes you guys different than the average band?
Bryan: We are some rowdy and crazy motherfuckers and don’t give a fuck what you think or anyone in the scene thinks. We do our own thing. We write music that WE want to hear. Old school. Bitches.
Jordan: I think our writing style is more unique and diverse then a lot of the other bands out there because of how diverse every members influences and musical backgrounds are!
Michael: We are really intense and passionate about what we do and we make it look good.
Zero: WE CAN PLAY OUR FUCKING SONGS TIGHT, WE FEEL OUR FUCKING MUSIC AND MOVE AND GET ROWDY , WE EAT SLEEP BLEED THIS BAND.
4. What’s your favourite song to play live?
Bryan: One that we are going to start playing live at our next show titled “Devastation” off of our top secret follow up EP.
Jordan: I love playing Naked Snake live just because of how fun it is to get rowdy at the last break down.
Michael: The Infiltrator.
Zero: All.
5. We heard that you played with Woe, Is Me, how was that?
Bryan: It was probably the best performance we have ever put on as a band and one of the greatest crowd reactions we have ever received.
Jordan: The crowd response was fantastic. We didn’t know what really to expect because it was basically the first show we played with all our live samples.
Michael: The crowd was fucking awesome. We had a great time.
Zero: We stole that shit.
6. If you were to fuck, kill and marry one of your band mates, who would it be and why?
Bryan: Kill Jordan, fuck Michael, marry Zero.
Jordan: Bryan, because he is sexy! Marry: Mike, because he pampers his girlfriend and I wouldn’t mind getting all the Xbox games I want when I want them.
Michael: Kill Jordan, fuck Bryan, marry Zero.
Zero: Kill them all, then fuck them, THEN marry them.
7. If you were a hobo, what would your cardboard sign say?
Bryan: I EAT THE PUSSY!
Jordan: Well… I am a hobo and my sign says “I am awesome so fuck you”.
Michael: Give me money ‘cause I’m awesome or I’ll kill you.
Zero: I fuck for less.
8. Would you rather get stuck in a room with Hannah Montana or Metro Station blasting through the speakers?
Bryan: Design the Skyline.
Jordan: HANNAH all the way!
Michael: Uhhh, Hannah Montana, is there even a choice?
Zero: Both.
9. If you were a dinosaur what would you name yourself?
Bryan: Ryan Reynolds.
Jordan: Gorgasaurus.
Michael: Nightmare-a-saurus
Zero: Fuckyourgodatops.
10. What’s the most embarrassing fact about each other?
Bryan: I go to college.
Jordan: I smell like mountains.
Michael: Gorgan smells.
Zero: We have HORRIBLE numbers in fucking women… FUCK BITCHES, GET MONEY.
11.What’s your favourite Disney cartoon?
Bryan: Never really watched Disney as a kid. NONE! OKAY?!
Jordan: Toy Story.
Michael: The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Zero: Peter Pan.
12. If you could tour with any band in the world who would it be and where would you go?
Bryan: Daughters (reunion), From a Second Story Window (reunion), The Blood Brothers (reunion), See You Next Tuesday (reunion) Architects (nothing past Hollow Crown), Underoath (nothing behind Disambiguation) , Danza, The Mars Volta, Nine Inch Nails, A Beautiful Nightmare, FESTIVUS FOR THE REST OF US AROUND THE WORLD!
Jordan: The ultimate tour would go as follows; Full European tour with Bring Me The Horizon, Underoath, Architects, A Beautiful Nightmare.
Michael: The Word Alive, in Japan.
Zero: Nine Inch Nails all over the fucking universe!
13. If you were a Disney villain, who would it be and why?
Bryan: Bob from Twin Peaks.
Jordan: Jafar. Because his name starts with J.
Michael: Oogie boogie.
Zero: Capt. Hook, because he’s a pirate and he’s the cleanest on the ship and he kills whoever the fuck he wants.
14. Would you rather get a tattoo of your face on each others dick or dicks on your faces?
Bryan: Could we have each others dicks tattooed to our dicks?
Jordan: Well… if tattoos are being spoken about I would rather set up a donation fund so I can finish my sleeves and stuff! Jordan Hollywood Oman is now taking donations if you want to help!
Michael: I have to decline this offer. Dick tattoos and face tattoos are against my religion and quite frankly I’m upset that you asked.
Zero: How about my dick tatted on your face?

Bryan: If you want to listen to a band that is actually trying to do something to progress music as opposed to try and rip each of their peers off with the same stage show, same sound, and same image just for the sake of having the same fans to come to their shows and buy their music like every band in this scene is doing nowadays, come check us out.
