Simple Plan is a Canadian pop-punk band from Québec, Montreal. The band originally started in 1996 with a band named Reset with Chuck and 2 other friends. The band didn’t gain as much popularity as they wanted and Chuck left not long after they released their debut album, no worries, to go to college. Two years later, Chuck met up with Jeff and Seb who were in separate bands at the time, and combined to create Simple Plan. Chuck and Pierre then reacquainted at a Sugar Ray concert and Pierre left Reset to join Simple plan.  David replaced Pierre in Reset but he then left to join Simple Plan six months later.

No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls was Simple Plan’s first album. This record contained vocals from Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 on “I’d Do Anything” and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte on “You Dont Mean Anything”.

Simple Plan -  self-titled album (2009)

This self-titled album was recorded both in the same studio where they recorded “Still Not Getting Any..” as well as Miami. on February 17th, 2008 Simple Plan achieved their highest charting single in the UK. “When I’m Gone” gave the band their best chart position in the UK at number 26.

This is the band’s fourth album, it was released on June 21st 2011. This marks the band’s second time recording with collaborations, including Natasha Bedingfield, K’naan, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo and Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low.  The band’s come back brought them to Warped Tour ’11
